Purea Nei

Image
Purea nei e te hau Horoia e te ua Whitiwhitia e te ra Mahea ake nga poraruraru Makere ana nga here. Scattered by the wind  washed by the rain  and transformed by the sun,  all doubts are swept away and all restrains are cast down. E rere wairua, e rere Ki nga ao o te rangi Whitiwhitia e te ra Mahea ake nga poraruraru Makere ana nga here, Makere ana nga here. Fly O free spirit, fly  to the clouds in the heavens,  transformed by the sun,  with all doubts swept away  and all restrains cast down. Yes, all restrains are cast down.

I see again your beauty gleaming there caressed by the wind, and  my tears are snatched away. This  ...

The stars and the sky act as the cloak of God and becomes my place of rest. The sparkling stars are out, so is the full moon. They become my companions in my house of rest. The clouds in the milkyway are showing me my pathway. they become my companions in my house of rest."

Nga Waka Video

This is Nga Waka.  This song will be performed at the Powhiri for the waka at Point England.  This is the result after our first lesson as a group.  The video quality isn't great but we should be able to follow the song. Practice this at home with the words.  The group will be performing with the school seniors on the 24th of March 2015.
