Learning Achievement Celebrations

Dear families of our amazing Kapa Haka group. As you are aware, our Learning Achievement Celebration is this Monday 14th December. The Kapa Haka group have been asked to perform at both the junior and senior celebrations.   The junior celebration starts at 2pm so we will be getting the learners ready once they have finished their lunch. If any parents / care givers are able to help get our learners ready, it would be really appreciated. We will start to get ready at 1pm in Hub 1. As for the senior celebration, this starts at 6:30pm.  We are asking for those of you who's child is year 0-3, (that is able to attend the Senior Learning Achievement Celebration), be at school at 5:15pm in Hub 3 to get ready.  The Kapa Haka group are opening both celebrations so once your child has performed they are able to get changed and leave. They are not required to stay unless they are performing in the choir or Pasifika group. W...

2015 Celebration

Seasons greetings team.  We have had a massive year with our group growing exponentially from last year and then taking on some pretty ambitious targets.  Highlights would have to include our Marae Noho at AUT Marae as well as the performances we have had at the School Gala, Art Expo and Bailey Road School. Given that we have had such an incredible year our Kapa Haka whānau would like to engage with both the learners and the greater Kapa Haka community to step back and celebrate the year that we have had.  We would like to invite our greater whānau to the last practice for the year (Wednesday 16th of December) at which we will be - Performing some of our favourite songs from the year - Blessing our new korowai, uniforms and leavers taonga - Having a shared breakfast to celebrate the year To help support this we would like to welcome you and siblings if able and a plate of FINGER food to share.   We would love to see as many people as possible...
