First Practise For Our Upcoming Show.

Today we got started on practise for a big show we have planned for next term.

While a group of learners went with Matua Jipsy and Whaea Rongomai to work on their ti rau skills, Matua Chris lead the juniors singing E nga hau e wha.  This is a song that some of our learners are familiar with as we had learnt & performed it towards the end of last year. Our new learners to Kapa Haka did a great job today, being determined as they learnt this new song and the actions to go along with it.

We are hoping that as well as having lots of holiday fun, our learners will also find some time to continue practising over the school holidays. The waiatas lyrics, videos & music that we are learning can be found on the side of the blog under Labels.
