Lots of learning done today...

This morning our focus was to prepare our learners for the up-coming trip next Tuesday at Pt England.  We gave the children a run down of what was going to happen on the day, what the expectations were & why we were attending.

We then watched a presentation about the incredible journey that the two Waka's have traveled so far on their world wide voyage before having another great practice.









Here is a wee sneak peek of the two Waka's that we will get to see sail into Pt England next Tuesday.  The year 7 & 8's were invite to attend a special presentation today. We learnt how the crew navigate using a star compass and the amazing science they are doing on their voyage as they spread their word on taking care of our environment, our earth.
