Wednesday's Practice.

                 

After our Karakia we split into two groups where we participated in three ten minute activities. While the girls went to practice their Ti Rakau skills with Matua Jipsy, Matua Bryan & Whaea Nin, the boys practiced their famous Haka with Matua Chris. After practicing a few times, Matua Chris had the year 0-3 boys challenge the senior boys to see who could be more passionate and feel the words that they were chanting.  It was very close! After 10 minutes we  swapped over and the girls sang Ka Pioioi E with Matua Chris while the boys got to practice with the Ti rakau.  For the final 10 minutes we headed to the hall where we got to practice on the stage.  For some of us it was our first stage practice, so there was quite a bit of excitement.
